Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

Illustration, photography, book design, and book binding for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. This rendition of Lewis Carroll’s classic story is inspired by Alice’s belief that a book is useless without pictures or conversations, and the book’s layout and illustrations reflect this concept, along with the fact that she is a very imaginative girl who loves to pretend to be different people and have conversations with herself.

The book features coptic binding and measures a half-letter page in size, vertically, to give it an unconventional sense of length and a unique reading experience

To emphasize dialogue, conversations are pulled to their own pages. In the illustrations, one girl acts out all the characters’ parts.

This first volume features Alice’s adventures in chapters one through four. The goal to complete the entire book design is a self-initiated work-in-progress endeavor. Hopefully there will be more volumes and chapters to come!
